Starting Wednesday, Aug. 5, the right lane of northbound SR 522 will close from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. for maintenance between SR 202 and the SR 9 overpass.

WSDOT reports that multiple highway projects are scheduled for this week, including a 10-mile stretch of SR 203 that will have alternating traffic with flaggers from Sunday nights to Friday mornings through Aug. 28. SR 161 will close all lanes between 28th Avenue South and Military Road South from Aug. 7 to Aug. 17 for culvert installation.

Travelers should expect delays up to 20 minutes on US 101 between mileposts 1. 0 and 2. 5 from Aug. 3-5, with flaggers directing traffic during 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily hours. All work is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 17, with some projects ending sooner.
