Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) projects will cause lane closures and flagger operations on Olympic Peninsula highways starting Monday, Sept. 1, according to public records.

State Route 9 will have a southbound lane closure with a lane shift from 184th Street Southeast to 180th Street Southeast (milepost 3) nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday, Sept. 4. State Route 203 will alternate traffic with flaggers at Rutherford Slough (milepost 0) daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 3. State Route 20 will have flagger operations from Alfred Street to State Route 530/East Sauk Road (milepost 97) daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Wednesday, Sept. 3.

WSDOT projects on the Peninsula are scheduled to conclude by mid-September, with some projects extending through Sept. 14. Residents and travelers should expect delays during work hours and during overnight closures, with detours available for some projects.
