Olympic Peninsula Road Closures Planned for Mid-August

WSDOT announced multiple highway closures for maintenance and utility work on the Olympic Peninsula starting Aug. 3. The closures include nightly I-90 off-ramp closures on July 31 and Aug. 1, a two-lane closure on I-90 from Aug. 4-5, and alternating traffic on US 2 from Aug. 3-7.

Closures on I-405 will include full northbound closure from Aug. 7-10 and southbound closure on Aug. 3-4. SR 522, SR 526, and SR 20 will also have lane closures for maintenance and utility work. WSDOT advises drivers to follow signed detours and expect delays during the work periods.
