πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

State Route 9 near Kalloch Road (MP 59) will operate with a single lane and alternating traffic through a bypass road from Aug. 22 to Sept. 14 for fish passage construction. The project also includes alternating traffic on SR 9 just south of Mount Vernon Big Lake Road (MP 49) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays through Thursdays through Sept. 3.

WSDOT states the work aims to improve fish passage at unnamed tributaries of Nookachamp and Hansen Creeks. Drivers should expect delays in these areas during the construction periods. The project is expected to conclude by Sept. 14, with the earlier alternating traffic period ending on Sept. 3.
