US 101 Paving, Bridge Repairs Impact Olympic Peninsula Roads

Starting Thursday, Aug. 13, US 101 between Humptulips and Neilton will have daytime mobile paving operations from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. each weekday until Sept. 3, with pilot cars alternating traffic directions.

US 12 over I-5 will close one lane nightly from 7:30 p.m. Aug. 10 to 6 a.m. Aug. 20 for bridge repairs, with a detour using northbound I-5 to Exit 71 for SR 508.

US 2 west of Cashmere will have single-lane closures in both directions Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. until mid-to-late September for paving, while US 101 at Calawah River will reduce to one lane of alternating traffic from 9 p.m. Aug. 17 to 3 p.m. Aug. 18 for bridge repairs.
