Clallam County Emergency Management has launched a recruitment drive for community volunteers to support emergency response efforts.
The initiative aims to strengthen local capacity for disaster preparedness and response, with roles including first aid, communication, and logistics support. Volunteers will undergo training and be integrated into the county's emergency operations center.
Residents interested in joining must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check. Applications are available online at Clallam County's emergency management website.
